Montana State University-Northern welcomed the Northern Montana College Class of `57 back to campus on May 4th and 5th, 2007, to celebrate their 50th reunion. The returning alums participated in campus and community tours, a class meeting, and socialization time for the class members to catch up with one another.

The reunion began Friday, May 5th, with class registration and a luncheon in Donaldson Alumni Commons. MSU-Northern Chancellor, Dr. Alex Capdeville gave the welcome and an update on campus improvements and progress. MSUN's Admissions office staff conducted a tour of the campus, and a class meeting followed in Donaldson. Friday's festivities concluded with the Founder's Excellence dinner and Reunion banquet in the Student Union Dining Room where the 50 year alumni were introduced and received their 50 year pin.

On Saturday, May 5th, MSU-Northern's Commencement Ceremony highlighted the weekend. The "Golden Grads" marched in the processional and led the new graduates in the graduation exercises. At the conclusion of Commencement, they joined the Class of 2007, their families and friends, and the faculty, staff and administration in the Student Union Ballroom for the Graduation Brunch. A ride in the "Goose" took place after that and the tour of Havre Beneath Streets was scheduled for Saturday afternoon to showcase Havre's history. The reunion concluded with a social hour and barbecue held in Donaldson Alumni Commons and hosted by the Northern Alumni Association board members.
