flag was a special project of the Student Senate and was designed

Canadian
Alumni gathered in Medicine Hat for lunch during a recent visit to
Canada. The trip was designed to help develop transfer agreemetns
with several colleges in Alberta. Alex Capdeville, Roger Barber,
Greg Kegel, Jim Potter and Shauna Albrecht made up the
delegation from Northern. |

| Bobcats
and cutting torches are a common sight in Cowan Hall this summer.
The old heating system is being removed to make room for a new heating/air
conditioning system. New heaters are expected to be in place and operational
by winter. |
