The
3rd Annual Legends For Lights Pheasant Jamboree was held October
17 20. This fundraising event is coordinated through the MSU-Northern
Foundation office in conjunction with local legend Mike Tilleman
and his wife, Gloria.
The
Jamboree kicked off with a social on the Burlington Northern Santa
Fe Fox and Missouri River Cars. These cars were brought in especially
for this event by Pat Keim and Burlington Northern Sante Fe.
It
was followed, on Saturday morning, with a trap

at the Havre
Trap Club complete
with a shooting clinic,
Calcutta, and competition shoot. Later that evening, the Legends were
treated to a little bit of Lights football action with the homecoming
game against Rocky Mountain College.
On
Sunday, there was an open team hunt in the morning followed by the
Taste of Havre and the Hi Line that evening. Over twenty five vendors
from Havre and the Hi Line came together to present the best they
had to offer. Community members got an opportunity to mingle with
the Legends and
taste the best food in Havre and on
the Hi Line. They also had the chance to win an Artic Cat ATV donated
by Artic Cat. Monday finished up with a competition team hunt and
an awards ceremony held at the Horizon Room on the Beaver Creek
Golf Course.
