This
year Homecoming was held during the week of October 13th-19th. In
addition to the annual traditions, Northern students and alumni attended
some new activities. The week was kicked off Tuesday with a special
concert in the SUB Ballroom by Clayton Bellamy, a country music singer.
On Wednesday, all of the campus clubs got together to paint the Hello
Walk. There was also a barbeque held that day in conjunction with
the painting. Thursday night commenced with a new activity, the Royal
Bath pool party inthe MSU-Northern pool. Friday night was a rehearsal
for the homecoming candidates and they were presented at the Skylights
volleyball game that night. Saturday was the
big day with half time coronation. The game pitted
the MSU-Northern Lights football team |
against the Rocky Mountain College Bears. After the game that night, a homecoming
dance was held in the SUB Ballroom. To end the celebration was a concert
by Robin Spielberg, as part of the Northern Showcase Concert Series.
