Brady, Alex Capdeville and Melody Bentz hold the award
certificate for the USDA Rural Utilities Service, Distance Learning
and Telemedicine Grant in the amount of $398,785. This grant will
help Northern update and expand its NorthNet interactive television
classrooms.

Ryan, State Director for Rural Development and Ty Duncan,
Executive Director for MCDC hold the symbolic check representing
the $191,650 that MCDC received from the USDA Rural Cooperative
Development Grant. This grant will fund the overall operations of
the MCDC for the next two years including the delivery of technical
assistance to new and existing cooperatives around the state.
