The Northern Alumni Association of Montana State University Northern is a powerful network of more than 12,500 members. Our mission is to connect alumni to the University and to each other, to provide valued services to members, and to support MSU-Northern’s mission as a comprehensive regional University. The University offers programs of professional preparations emphasizing discipline mastery, critical inquiry, and social responsibility in teacher preparation, mechanical and engineering technologies, business and computer information systems, nursing, and arts and sciences.

The Northern Alumni Association is governed by the Alumni Executive Council and Executive Committee which is elected annually at our Annual Meeting during Homecoming. The Executive Council is made up of alumni volunteers who are elected for two-year terms by fellow alumni. These alumni volunteers help shape and influence the policies and direction of the Association. The Executive Committee, made up of current elected officers and the Immediate Past President, is responsible for Association affairs between Council meetings.
