Policy:

Northern prefers that visitors, temporary staff, faculty and students use the public campgrounds in the area. Locations of these sites may be obtained by contacting the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce.

The campus of Montana State University-Northern does not allow camping for the general public. On occasion, students enrolled in short-term workshops may be allowed to park self-contained campers in the parking lot south of the gymnasium bordering 13th Street. Permission may be obtained by calling 390-4308.

Anyone found camping on the campus without the express permission of MSU-Northern Director of Facilities Services will be asked to vacate the premises immediately. Failure to do so may result in the offender being charged with criminal trespass.
