804.5 Returned Check Fee

Policy:
Each unit of the Montana University System is authorized to charge fee of $15.00 for each check which is returned by a bank for insufficient funds. (MUS Policy and Procedures Manual Section 940.15)
Procedures:
- A $15.00 service charge will be collected by MSU-Northern Business Services for each check which is returned by bank for insufficient funds.
- This charge will apply to students, faculty, administration, and staff.
