The Chancellor reports directly to the President of Montana State University-Bozeman and the Board of Regents.

Responsibilities:

The Chancellor is the chief executive officer of the campus. Under Regents policy, the Chancellor exercises broad delegated powers and coordinates system-wide matters with the other CEO’s in the Montana State University campuses through the President of Montana State University Bozeman.
