MARY PAPPASWelcome to the Montana State University-Northern (MSU-N) Department of Nursing web-site. We are pleased you are interested in our nursing programs. We offer an Associate of Science degree in Nursing (ASN) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) for Registered Nurses (RN-BSN completion).
The
first year of the ASN program is offered in both Havre and Lewistown, Montana with
clinical experiences at various sites in both communities.
Students who begin the program in Havre have the option of completing
their second year in Havre or at the MSU-Northern Great Falls campus.
Those who begin the program in Lewistown will complete the program at
that site. LPN’s may enter the
ASN program with advanced standing at Level II.
Upon completion of the ASN program, students are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN. Both the ASN and the BSN programs are fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, and approved by the Montana State Board of Nursing.
Our BSN program is offered entirely on the worldwide web via MSU-N online. Information about this program is available on our Internet Courses page.
We hope you enjoy our web site, and we look forward to assisting you as you plan your nursing career.
Sincerely,
Mary
Pappas, Director of Nursing
