Our Mathematics program is a dual track degree for those seeking employment in the technical fields of industry or for those pursuing teacher licensure in Secondary Math education. students will enroll in either the Mathematics track with a major in Mathematics and a minor in a field of their choice, or enroll in the Secondary Education track. The teacher education student takes the necessary education courses and minor in another education field. We recommend that those pursing either degree double major to improve employment opportunities and versatility. Advanced courses in high school would be valuable to preparing for either Mathematics Degree option. Demand is high for teaching graduates. The non-teaching graduate is of more interest to larger corporations, government or those graduates who wish to move on to graduate school. Graduates an anticipate starting salaries in the range of $25,000 to $45,000 depending on location. Robert Johnke
