MSU-Northern Continuing Education
Each semester, MSU-Northern offers a wide variety of credit-bearing workshops for
K-12 teachers working towards recertification. These workshops include both face-to-face
and VESi computer-based courses. Northern also offers a variety of non-credit workshops
for other vocations and professions as well, including customized training and Low
Pressure Steam Boiler training.
During the summer months, MSU-Northern partners with Golden Triangle Cooperative offering a vast number of workshops face-to-face in a variety of locations. Please check out these course listings by clicking on the link to the left and then selecting “Summer Institute” located on the GTCC page.
Montana State University-Northern has partnered with Virtual Education Software, inc.
(VESi) to offer over 20 continuing education courses for K-12 educators online that
are convenient, relevant, and affordable. These interactive courses are designed to
be run online from a reliable, stable, unlimited high-speed internet connection to provide expert instruction at a pace that fits
VESi courses are now compatible on all devices, making it easy for you to re-certify any time, anywhere with reliable, stable online access. Students will receive an email from VESi 2-3 days prior to the semester start date of their course containing a course link and information to begin the course. Total cost per course is $290.
To register for these courses, please complete the application form and mail with payment to MSU-Northern Continuing Education at the address located at the bottom of the form. The form can also be faxed to (406) 265-3570. Please note that students must register for these courses before the given date on the application form.
