Make a difference in your community! If being involved in your community and helping people to realize their potential motivates you, a Bachelor’s degree in Community Leadership may be right for you. This broad-based program allows you to focus on the area of non-profit or governmental service that you’re interested in. Many of the courses emphasize applied learning through practical experience. You will emerge from this program with solid professional ties with non-profit organizations, governmental services, and/or tribal agencies. In addition, our Community Leadership program provides you with the necessary combination of social science foundations and communication theory to be an effective community service professional. Our graduates are readily employed using the knowledge and skills gained in the Community Leadership program. These may include positions with federal and state government, recreation programs, community planning organizations, local government and community service programs.
