Our programs in biology offers you a strong foundation in basic biological principles coupled with a varied emphasis in biochemistry and molecular biology. This background is designed to provide you with a comprehensive undergraduate experience that will prepare you to enter graduate school or professional areas of the health sciences. Our biology program offerings include a Bachelor of Science degree, teaching and non teaching minors, all of which include the opportunity to gain hands on research experience under the guidance of experienced faculty members. Graduates of the biology program may choose to be involved in a variety of employment opportunities in the private, public, federal, and industrial, sectors. It will also provide interested students the option of entering graduate and professional school programs including medical and pharmacy school.
